Jason Lavalle, LICSW, MHP

 

I have been working in the field of human services in a variety of capacities since 2005 and began my private practice in 2015.  I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, with an emphasis in evidenced based treatment approaches. Upon graduation, I worked in community mental health in the Seattle area treating children, adolescents, adults and families.

 

I have experience working as a behavioral health specialist with University of Washington Medicine. In that setting, I provided mental health assessments and counseling to adults and older adults with a variety of mental health needs. I have worked with teens, adults, and older adults providing individual therapy throughout King County in outpatient and community/school-based settings.  Additionally, I have experience treating people in the tech industry for issues that include anxiety, depression, sleep irregularity, stress management and impostor syndrome.
